Lightningfast Talks About the Playing Five of Global Esports for VCT Pacific League

Global Esports made its international debut in Brazil at the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, where it showcased a promising performance against Team Vitality. Ever since that event there has been an increased interest in how the team would go on to compete at the VCT 2023: Pacific League, scheduled to take place from 25^th March to 28^th May.

As the tournament nears Abhirup "Lightningfast" Choudhury, during a recent livestream, spoke a bit about the team composition we may likely witness playing in Seoul, South Korea.

The talented player from India, Lightningfast is a part of Global Esports' revamped Valorant roster. He did not get a chance to play during the team's tour of Brazil but he remains hopeful of performing in the 64-day-long league headed their way.

"For now nothing is sure about the playing five for the Pacific League. Everyone is on a break, soon the practice will begin. For now, I have no idea. In case I'm not in the playing five then the same five (VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo) will continue playing," says Lightningfast, who is still in the process of submitting documents to get his visa approved for South Korea.

When asked about Michael "Wronski" Wronski's return to the side following some personal issues outside the game that forced him to travel back to Australia, Lightningfast said that he is not sure about this.

"I have no idea about other players, but I do know about myself. Till now the scene is that we all will apply for a visa and only after that something will happen. Right now everyone is busy applying for their respective visas," explained the young talent who has not played for the side following its roster revamp.

Lightningfast clarified that he has absolutely no idea about what the future holds, he might end up being a part of the playing five or just move around as a substitute for Global Esports, anything was possible.

The organization is scheduled to play its opening match of the VCT Pacific League against T1 on 25^th March. The team will be hoping to start things off on a winning note but only time will tell how that turns out.
