Milio is the latest support champion to join the ever-expanding League of Legends roster.

League of Legends’ newest enchanter support Milio was released on 22nd March in LoL Patch 13.6.
But the company has already rolled out a mid patch update to nerf the latest support champion.

League of Legends’ newest enchanter support Milio was released on 22nd March (Wednesday) and has already captured the attention of Riot Games developers. Just after a day’s time, the support champion was on the receiving end of a hotfix aimed to tune down his power. The developers pushed out a mid-patch update in LoL Patch 13.6 in order to bring down Milio’s power and also to address another bug that was around the champion and Illaoi.

Here’s everything you need to know about the mid-patch Milio nerfs in LoL Patch 13.6.

Milio mid-patch nerf

Milio is the latest to join the ever-expanding roster of League of Legends champions. As an enchanter support in the bottom lane, Milio uses the fire axiom to heal, shield and protect his allies. Additionally, he has a straightforward and fun kit that enables occasional attack range increase and cleanses his allies too.

With Riot Games immediately jumping in to adjust Milio, it is evident that the company overshot his power and panicked as it saw the champion in pubs and ranked games.

Following this, early on 24th March, Riot Games wrote, “Heads up players, we've just shipped some mid-patch adjustments that will bring Milio's power down a notch. We're also working on resolving a few issues regarding rare instances where Milio and Illaoi can sometimes cause games to crash.

Riot Games stated that it was working on a fix to resolve a disruptive bug that occurred when Milio and Illaoi are in the same game. There were reported instances where having Milio and Illaoi in the game would cause the entire lobby to crash. However, it did not state how the bug is caused or how it could be replicated.

The Milio mid-patch nerfs are as follows:

Milio Changes (currently live):

Passive: Fired Up!

-Attack Damage (AD) Scaling: 15-50% >>> 15-35%

W: Cozy Campfire

-Healing: 80/110/140/170/200 >>> 70/90/110/130/150

E: Warm Hugs

Shields: 60/90/120/150/180 (+30% Ability Power [AP]) >>> 60/80/100/120/140 (+25% AP)

Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13 seconds >>> 18/17/16/15/14 seconds

If you are still unfamiliar with Milio, here's a detailed explanation of his kit:

Fired Up! (Passive): Milio’s abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next damage deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.

Ultra Mega Fire Kick (Q): Milio kicks a ball that knocks back an enemy. The ball launches upward on hit and falls toward the enemy, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.

Cozy Campfire (W): Milio creates an empowering zone that heals allies and increases attack range to those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point.

Warm Hugs (E): Milio tosses a shield to an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.

Breath of Life (R): Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range.
