With the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2022 tournament concluded, all the regions across the world are gearing up for the big Summer Split, the most-important season before the World Championship. Major regions including North America’s League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Europe’s League of Legends European Championship (LEC), and Korea’s League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) have already announced the start dates of their league’s 2022 Summer Split.
The LCK will kick off its 2022 Summer Split on 15th June though many expected the split to start a week earlier than the actual start date. However, with the 2022 Asian Games standing indefinitely postponed, the LCK has gone with a later date.
Earlier on 3rd June, all the teams participating in the LCK and the LCK Challengers League submitted their first-round rosters for the upcoming split.
On 7th June, the league wrote on Twitter, “We look forward to seeing #LCK fans again for the return of Summer starting June 15th!” It added that the LCK MSI representative’s – T1 – first match shall take place on Friday (17th June) to give the team considerable time to rest between tournaments.
