Disguised Toast picked up a Valorant pro team at the start of 2023.
He may be potentially investing in a Valorant Game Changers roster before the Game Changers season kicks off in April.

On 9th January, streamer, content creator, and OfflineTV member Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang unveiled his Valorant team ‘Disguised’ which participated in the North American (NA) Valorant Challengers open qualifiers. After placing second in the Open Qualifiers, the team has punched its ticket to the main stage of Valorant Challengers Split 1 in NA and will be competing against the likes of G2 Esports, Team SoloMid, FaZe Clan, among others. Amidst the success his Valorant team is having in the pro scene, Disguised Toast may be looking to sign a Valorant Game Changers (GC) roster.

On 8th March, Disguised Toast tweeted, “Yo who’s the best available unsigned Game Changers Valorant player atm?. Thinking of starting a team.

Disguised Toast’s investment in Valorant esports

It is very likely that Disguised Toast is actually looking to sign a Valorant Game Changers team given that his hunt for the first Valorant team also began the same way, almost word to word. On 31st October 2022, Disguised Toast tweeted, “Yo whos the best available unsigned pro valorant player atm. thinking of starting a team.” When former League of Legends pro player William "Scarra" Li said, “He might be serious,” DisguisedToast replied, “I’m always serious scarra.

On Toast’s tweet looking for the best unsigned Game Changers Valorant player, pros and personalities gave their suggestions.

One Twitter user pointed out,Might be a stretch for you to look at APAC [Asia Pacific] region for teams but former X10 Sapphire roster is still LFO [looking for organization] (I think). They recently finished top 5th-6th in Champions GC.”

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Game Changers is a program that creates new opportunities and exposure for women and other marginalized genders within Valorant esports. The competitive Valorant community is both diverse and incredibly global, and Game Changers is representative of the inclusivity of the community.

In 2022, the world’s best Game Changers squads, for the first time ever, convened in person in Berlin, Germany to compete in the Valorant Game Changers Championship. G2 Gozen won the championship in 2022.

With Disguised Toast already invested in the North American Valorant pro scene, he may be leaning towards investing in a GC team in North America. Notably, the North American Game Changers Series I Open qualifier kicks off on 4th April.
