Highlights
Corki is a champion who was originally meant to be a marksman but is now predominantly played in the mid-lane.
Corki hails from Bandle City and moved to Piltover later on.

Corki, the daring bombardier, is a threatening champion in League of Legends who can poke out the backline of the enemy team. Corki can be a DPS (damage per second) threat in the game and can throw out abilities and chunk out HP bars from a safe and long distance. Over the course of many years, the champion has really made a mark on the Summoner’s Rift and has completely moved from the bottom lane to the mid-lane as a hybrid carry. Since Corki has the right balance of attack damage (AD) and ability power (AP) ratios, it can be difficult to itemize against the champion.

Is Corki a yordle champion in League of Legends?

Yes, Corki is indeed a yordle champion in League of Legends. The yordle pilot loves two things: flying and his majestic mustache. He left the Bandle City and settled in Piltover and fell in love with the machinery and the technology he found. Corki also led an aerial defense force called the Screaming Yipsnakes and also came up with the original design for the Reconnaissance Operations Front-Line Copter, an aerial assault vehicle which has turned into the backbone of the Bandle City Expeditionary Force (BCEF).

Who are yordles?

In the Runeterra Universe, the yordles are a race of spirits who look like mammals that walk on two legs. Most of them reside in the magical world of Bandle City, though some of them have ventured out and now live in numerous places around Runeterra. The origin of yordles is unknown, often linked to the spirit realm, but can be traced back to a prehistoric time when there were no civilizations on land, thanks to the existence of Fizz who is an amphibious yordle. In order to easily blend within human habitations, yordles use an ability called glamor, which gives them the appearance of short humans. Basically, yordles are small and are fuzzy in nature.

Other yordle champions related to Corki

League of Legends has a handful of yordle champions and it is fair to say that the player base does not like most of them because of their annoying ability kits. Some of the other yordle champions in the game are:

  • Fizz

  • Gnar

  • Heimerdinger

  • Kennen

  • Kled

  • Lulu

  • Poppy

  • Rumble

  • Teemo

  • Tristana

  • Veigar

  • Vex

  • Ziggs

At the moment, Corki is a champion who is pretty much prioritized both in pro play and ranked games in Solo Queue. According to U.GG, he has a win rate of 45.99% and a pick rate of 3.6%. It is also fair to say that players in-game tremble in fear when they hear Corki loading up his package in the game and when he says, “Now, I’m all spooled up.”
