The 4th edition of the much-anticipated India Gaming Show (IGS) is all set to happen in New Delhi, India. As an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the India Gaming Show 2023 is supported by the Government of India to provide a platform exclusively to showcase gaming and animation. Themed ‘Defining New Frontiers - The Future of Gaming in India,’ the India Gaming Show 2023 has a jam-packed, intriguing session filled with exhibitions, international conferences, esports events, and cosplay shows, among others. The Indian Gaming Show is set to take place in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 16th February to 18th February.

Notably, Riot Games announced that it is all set to debut at the India Gaming Show 2023, following the warm reception it received for the launch event of Valorant’s Indian agent Harbor in Mumbai, India. Additionally, Indian esports tournament organizer Jet Skyesports is organizing its first LAN event of the year, the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3, at the Pragati Maidan as part of the IGS 2023.

India Gaming Show 2023 at New Delhi

Coming to the 4th International Gaming Conference 2023, the India Gaming Show 2023 has a captivating array of programs and discussions lined up for three days. The three-day conference includes topics like Decoding Gen Z: Understanding the Habits and Behaviors of the Next Generation, The Esports Olympic Medal Quest: Path for India to win an esports Olympic medal, Gaming for Her: Innovative Strategies to expand and build engagement with women gamers in India, among many others.

Indulge in Riot Games’ immersive experience

Riot Games announced on 13th February that it will make its debut at the India Gaming Show 2023 in New Delhi and that it will be hosting exciting on-ground events and experiences at the venue, highlighting Riot Games’ commitment to the booming gaming culture in India.

Riot Games will offer attendees an immersive experience into the Valorant universe by exhibiting a photo arena featuring the game’s most iconic map sites and Harbor’s jewels. Fans will also be able to roleplay their favorite agents in a live ‘Defuse the Spike’ game and also participate in a NERF Shooting Zone. The company added that the best players will take home an array of Valorant-themed prizes. 

Commenting on Riot Games' debut at the India Gaming Show 2023, Riot Games Marketing Lead of South Asia Ashish Gupta said, “We are thrilled to be a part of India’s largest gaming convention, which is returning offline for the first time post-pandemic. With thousands of gamers and gaming enthusiasts expected at the India Gaming Show, we aim to deliver memorable experiences to our players, fans, and the larger Indian gaming audience.


Skyesports organizes India’s first-ever all-female Valorant LAN 

Taking place at the Pragati Maidan during the India Gaming Show on 16th February and 17th February, the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 will feature top creators and teams competing for glory. This event will see the return of Skyesports’ all-female esports IP, Skyesports Luna, as a LAN event with Valorant, making it India’s first-ever all-female Valorant LAN. 

Jet Skyesports, in a release, noted that the LAN will feature intense esports action and that there will also be unique activations with Microsoft and AMD along with giveaways to reward all the fans who show up to the Pragati Maidan. It added, “Entry to the Windows 11 Skyesports Grand Slam Season 3 will be free for everyone.
