A new Valorant agent voice line missing bug was observed in the game along with the release of Episode 7 Act 1.
Many players were not able to hear the agent voice lines and announcer voice while playing Valorant.
Riot Games has released a temporary fix for the issue and here is how you can go about fixing the Valorant agent voice line missing bug.

Valorant is not just a tactical first-person shooter and actually has a proper lore around which the game has been built. This is commonly observed in-game when the agents interact with each other before a round starts.

It is an important and necessary part of the game which the players have grown to like and appreciate, discovering something new ever so often, while chuckling at some of the old-time favorites. On top of this, agents also tend to say a few lines when using their abilities, which is an integral part of the game as it helps gain bits of information.

Ever since the launch of Episode 7 Act 1 these agent voice lines and announcer sounds from Valorant have gone missing for many players due to a bug, making the game eerily silent.

Thankfully, Riot Games has responded promptly by providing a temporary solution to the Valorant agent voice line bug while they work on a proper fix for the issue.

Valorant Agent Voice Line Missing Bug: How To Fix

The issue came into existence following the release of Episode 7 Act 1 and has since become a concern for a lot of players, complaining about Valorant going very silent during games.

Not being able to hear the pre-round interactive voice lines is still fine as it does not impact the gameplay in any way or manner, but not being able to hear the agent announcer lines when using a particular ability is a heavy disadvantage.

Valorant received its latest update on 27th June and just two days later Riot Games has found a temporary but effective fix. Here is how you can apply it to combat the missing agent voice lines bug.

  1. First, launch Valorant.

  2. Now, go to 'Settings' and simply change the 'In-Game Text Language' to something else, any language will do.

  3. Quit and launch Valorant again.

  4. Repeat the step again by going to 'Settings' and changing the 'In-Game Text Language' back to your former original setting.

  5. Quit and launch Valorant again.

After having followed all the steps mentioned above, you will observe that the Valorant agent voice line missing bug has been resolved. This is a temporary fix that has been rolled out by Riot Games, so in case the problem returns you might need to follow these steps again.

As for a proper fix, the developers are working on it and will roll it out soon. Till then this is your best bet to hear the agents once again and return the game to normalcy.
