For the second year in a row, Netflix has brought back its Geeked Week event where it makes new announcements every day about different TV shows. Notably, each day has a different theme lined up and the theme for 8th June was Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which was all about animations. It featured shows including Love, Death & Robots, The Dragon Prince, Inside Job, Exception, Farzar, Moonrise, and League of Legends-based hit show Arcane.
As part of the celebration of Arcane and the Geeked Week 2022, Netflix has added many of the characters from Arcane to its profile icon collection on the application.
Arcane characters for Netflix profile icons
Netflix users can now choose between 12 different profile icons of characters from the hit TV show Arcane and League of Legends to customize their look.
The following are the available icons:
Jinx
Vi
Caitlyn
Viktor
Ekko
Mel
Jayce
Heimerdinger
Sevika
Silco
Vander
Poro
Changing profile icon to Arcane character
Netflix users can change profile icons from both the mobile application as well as on the web browser.
Follow the below-mentioned steps for changing the icon on the browser.
Open your browser and navigate to netflix.com
You should be redirected to the “Who’s Watching?” page
Click on the Manage Profiles button on the page
Next, click on the pencil icon on the particular profile you want to customize
You will be navigated to the Edit Profile page
Click on the profile icon again and you will land on the “Choose a profile icon” page
You should see a collection of many different profile icons from a plethora of shows
Scroll down until you see Arcane characters
Choose any one of the 12 available icons and click on “Let’s Do It.”
You will go back to the Edit Profile Page
Now save and click on done
Your new Arcane character icon will be reflected. Now continue browsing on Netflix
If you are on the mobile app, upon opening Netflix, you will see the Who’s Watching page where you can find an edit button. Now, on the Edit Profile page, click on the profile icon again and choose a new Arcane icon that you enjoy.
Apart from this, during the Netflix Geeked Week 2022 event, it was announced that Riot Games would be treating the fans of Arcane with a new behind-the-scenes series of the show called Arcane: Bridging the Rift. This series is all set to air on YouTube on 4th August with new episodes releasing every Thursday.
