Ludwig stated that he invested $500,000 USD of MoistCr1TiKal’s money in the roster of BreakThru.

The Valorant esports scene across the globe is booming with organizations truly understanding the potential and reach of the esport. Earlier this year, streamer, content creator, and OfflineTV member Jeremy “Disguised Toast” officially unveiled his Valorant team Disguised (DSG) that participated in the North American (NA) Valorant Challengers. Following suit, fellow content creator Ludwig Ahgren took to Twitter on 27th February to formally announce the roster of his Valorant team, Moist Moguls. Back in January, Ludwig teased the idea of getting into the Valorant ecosystem after joining Moist Esports as a co-owner.

Ludwig tweeted, “The rumors are true! I spent $500K of Charlie's [Charles “MoistCr1TiKal” White] money [on] a Valorant team. Say hello to Moist Moguls.

With this, Moist Esports entered the Valorant pro scene by signing the North American Challengers team called BreakThru featuring Brady “thief” Dever, Alex “aproto” Protopapas, Xavier “flyuh” Carlson, Brock “brawk” Somerhalder, and Tyler “sym” Porter.

Here’s how Ludwig’s Moist Moguls is faring in the Valorant Challengers tournament in North America.

Ludwig's Moist Moguls in Valorant Challengers

Ludwig and MoistCr1TiKaL’s Moist Moguls had a rough start in the Valorant North American Challengers as the team suffered a defeat at the hands of Turtle Troop, the team that was last in the Group A standings of Valorant Challengers 2023: North America Split 1 - Group Stage. Moist Moguls lost 2-0 to Turtle Troops and is currently placed fourth in the standings with a 1-2 scoreline.

While the first map (Fracture) of the series against Turtle Troop was close as the rounds were 15-13 in favor of Turtle Troops, the second map was a relative stomp. Moist Moguls lost Pearl after winning only nine rounds against Turtle Troop’s 13 rounds.

Streamer and former pro-Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) player Tarik Çelik watched the match live and found Ludwig’s reactions hilarious.

The next series for Moist Moguls is against Shopify Rebellion on 10th March, followed by a series against FaZe Clan on 16th March. Notably, the top four teams from each group will advance to the Valorant Mid-Season Invitational.
