Fnatic and Guild Esports are heading to Copenhagen in hopes of qualifying for Valorant Champions 2022.
One more team from EMEA will join the two teams to represent the region after the lower bracket finals.
Fans will know which other teams from other regions make it to VCT Masters 2 by the end of June 2022.

Fnatic and Guild Esports have become the first two teams to make it to Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Copenhagen after great performances throughout the ongoing Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Challengers 2 event saw them secure Top 3 finishes in the tournament.

There is still one more spot available for the EMEA circuit and the team that makes it to the lower bracket final will be earning the opportunity to go to Copenhagen. FunPlus Phoenix, Acend, M3 Champions (Gambit Esports), and Team Liquid are still in contention as they battle through the lower bracket. Fans will know which of the four teams will head to the next masters on 24th June once the lower-bracket semi-finals conclude.

Fnatic and Guild Esports are both contenders to be Stage 2 Champions

While the competition in other regions have been fierce with multiple teams putting on great performances in each of the ongoing Challenger events, Fnatic and Guild Esports have absolutely dominated the EMEA circuit in the recent past. Fnatic went 5-0 in the group stage and it had no trouble beating FunPlus Phoenix to qualify for the upper bracket finals.

The teams in the playoffs are competing in a double-elimination bracket. Fnatic and GUILD Esports were awarded byes for their performances in the group stage and they took full advantage of it by securing early qualification for Copenhagen.

Guild Esports had a poor showing in 2021’s VCT circuit but the team has managed to turn things around. Leo “Leo” Jannesson has been instrumental in Guild’s success this year with consistent performances throughout the event. When facing M3 Champions, Leo was the difference maker with the player pulling off great performances in high-pressure situations on Sova and Breach.

The playoffs come to an end on 26th June 2022 with the top two teams competing for first place and a share of the €200,000 EUR ($214,286 USD) prize pool.
