Highlights
GodLike Esports will not be able to display its full strength in its opening match against MLT Esports as Astro and Zey face immigration issues.
Paradox and Blackhawk from Revenant Esports will replace the two Filipino players for the first match.
Astro is flying from the Philippines to Malaysia and from there he will be traveling to India. There is no update about Zey's situation at this point in time.

One of the top organizations from India, GodLike Esports, will not be able to step forward with its complete playing five as the Filipino duo of Franz "Astro" del Rosario and Jude Patrick "Zey" Gunhuran seem to have run into some "unforeseen immigration issues".

To complete its roster for the opening match against MLT Esports, GodLike has acquired the services of Kasif "Paradox" Sayyed and Shailesh "blackhawk" Dalvi from Revenant Esports, appreciating the support shown by the organization that is not a part of this league.

VCL 2023 South Asia: Paradox, Blackhawk to stand-in for Astro, Zey as GodLike plays first match against MLT

GodLike Esports will not be present at full strength during its opening match of the Valorant Champions League (VCL) 2023 South Asia against MLT Esports, scheduled to take place later today on 23rd March, from 19:00 IST onwards.

This is a great opportunity for MLT to ensure its first series win of the tournament, after losing 2-0 against True Rippers Esports during its previous encounter. The Bangladesh-based esports organization has not won a single map in the tournament so far and will be rearing to taste victory.

On the other hand, GodLike has managed to reinforce its Valorant roster with the addition of two Indian players for the duration of the first match, by bringing in Paradox and blackHawk from Revenant Esports to fill in.

"Despite this setback, we remain confident in our team's abilities and are determined to deliver a strong performance. We have a deep roster and are ready to show our resilience in the face of adversity," read a statement by GodLike Esports.

Statement by GodLike Esports about Valorant lineup

Paradox is quite a talented player who has been a part of multiple teams like True Rippers, Team Valor, and Revenant Esports. Whereas blackhawk will bring some much-needed experience having played for teams like Samurai Esports, Team XO, M42 Esports, and Revenant Esports.

Both the players are currently on their way to Delhi where the event is taking place in an offline studio environment. Meanwhile, it seems Astro is traveling from the Philippines to Malaysia and will be catching another flight to India from there. No information about Zey is publicly available at this point in time.

The GodLike roster might not be the ideal lineup intended, especially in its opening match, but the team still holds decent firepower and it will all boil down to how well they perform as a team.
