Global Esports Signs BlaZek1ng as Part of VCT 2024 Rebuild
Another one!
Global Esports has signed Gary "blaZek1ng" Dastin as the fourth member of its revamped Valorant lineup and will likely be competing with the team in the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024.
The 27-year-old from Indonesia is an experienced player who was previously a part of BOOM Esports, competing on and off with the team since July 2020. This is in fact the first time that he has officially switched teams in his professional Valorant career.
Following this acquisition, Global Esports is now just one player away from completing its roster for VCT 2024 and could go for an additional sixth player thereafter.
Global Esports Acquires BlaZek1ng as Part of VCT 2024 Roster Rebuild
Once again, all the rumors and the murmurs have turned out to be true as Global Esports bring blaZek1ng over from BOOM Esports as a member of its active Valorant lineup for the next competitive season.
Since starting his professional career in Valorant, blaZek1ng has stuck with BOOM and contributed to the team's victory in numerous national and international tournaments.
However, the most significant achievement came earlier this year with BOOM finishing 3rd-4th in the VCT 2023: Ascension Pacific, falling just short of making it into the international league, VCT 2024 and VCT 2025: Pacific League.
Shortly after this tournament, blaZek1ng was moved to the inactive roster by BOOM and after spending almost two months on the bench, he has finally signed with Global Esports, officially stepping into the VCT circuit.
In a short statement, blaZek1ng said "It's time to embark on a new journey, one that is into a much bigger league. You've supported me in the past and helped me on my good days and bad. I would need all that support in this Pacific League. I guess, now it's time to say Hello India! GE Fighting!"
Global Esports has now secured four Valorant players and is about to complete its roster rebuild for VCT 2024.
