Despite losing his first game in the group stage, Reynor quickly recovered and proceeded to sweep the rest of the sage ending with a 3-1 score and using the momentum to win it all.

Reynor wins it all in the Gamers8 Starcraft Legends

Reynor has had a promising career so far with a plethora of trophies since the beginning of his pro career in Starcraft in 2015 with his first trophy at the 2019 WCS Winter Europe. The youngster also picked up another trophy already at the start of the year with his win in the HomeStory Cup XXII. He is no doubt one of the more formidable players in the Starcraft pro scene.

During his most recent run at Gamers8, Reynor lost the first group stage matchup vs Kim "Classic" Doh-woo with a 1-2 score, but the youngster immediately recovered and won his next three matchups with a 2-0 against Li "Oliveira" Peinan and a 2-1 against Tobias "ShoWTimE" Sieber and Kang "Solar" Min-soo to qualify comfortably into the playoffs.

Reynor then showed up to the playoffs in peak form and dropped only one map across three matchups spanning 11 maps winning his first two playoff matches against Byun "ByuN" Hyun-woo and Clément "Clem" Desplanches handily with a 3-0 score over both of them. His streak appeared to have a speedbump when he lost his first map in the grand finals but was proved to be a false alarm as he proceeded to win the next 4 maps in a row against Kim "Cure" Doh-wook to take the trophy and the hefty $150,000 USD prize.

Reynor will look to carry this momentum into the rest of the year with events like the Master's Coliseum 6 which commences on 21st August 2023.
