The PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2 is the second major championship of the 2023 Competitive Season, organized by the PUBG Corporation. The event will feature 24 of the best teams that have been selected via Closed Qualifier matches conducted by Gamers8. The event kicks off today (10th August) and will continue until 20th August, with $2 Million USD up for grabs.
Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2: Format and Schedule
In a bid to bridge the gap between PUBG PC’s Ranked and Esports Modes, KRAFTON has announced a major rework onto Ranked Mode and Esports Mode by bridging both modes to use the same settings. This includes every item available and bluezone timings are now the same settings used across both game modes. All changes that are implemented to Ranked Mode are now applicable to the Esports mode of the game, and they are applicable at the ongoing PUBG Global Series. The Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2 will take place in three phases - Group Stage, Bracket Stage and Grand Finals.
Group Stage (10th to 12th August)
Three groups of eight teams will compete in a round robin format
Teams' placements are based on all 18 matches
Top 16 teams advance to the Winners Bracket
Bottom 8 teams will be placed into the Losers Bracket
Bracket Stage (13th to 16th August)
The Winners bracket teams will compete on 13th and 14th August
The Losers Bracket teams will compete on 15th and 16th August
The bottom eight teams will be eliminated from the competition
Grand Finals (18th to 20th August)
The top 16 teams will compete across three days of competition
A total of 18 matches will be played
The winner will be announced on the third and final day of the Grand Finals

Gamers8 PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2: Prize Pool
The prize pool for the event is set at $2 Million USD, with the winning team set to receive 300 PUBG Global Series (PGS) points and $600,000 USD. The rest of the prize pool will be distributed to the remaining teams depending on their final standings at the event.
