Dynamo Explains His Absence From Dreamhack Hyderabad 2022

DreamHack Hyderabad 2022, a three-day-long Indian gaming festival, concluded on 6th November. A lot of popular personalities from the Indian gaming community attended the event. An overwhelming number of fans also attended the event to meet their creators and professional players. However, Aaditya “Dynamo” Sawant, a popular Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) content creator, was nowhere to be seen during all three days of the event. As a result, fans were curious about his absence from the event. In a recent livestream, he explained his absence and expressed his disappointment in how Dreamhack Hyderabad 2022 was managed.

Dynamo expresses disappointment in Dreamhack Hyderabad 2022

Responding to the query by his fans, Dynamo revealed that the management team of DreamHack Hyderabad 2022 had stopped updating creators about the event at the last moment. He added, “I have come to know that the communication from their end regarding the tickets was also poor. I’m just saying what I have heard; I don’t know if it’s true.” Following this, he said that he would not attend an event with such unprofessional communication behavior. “If this is the way they communicated with creators, then I wouldn’t in such an unprofessional way,” he said.

Dynamo mentioned that he did not get an invitation from DreamHack. He said, “I did not receive a ticket for the event, a hotel for stay, or any confirmation from the management. So I thought that if there was no confirmation, then there was no point in going to the event.” As there was no confirmation from the management, Dynamo was unsure whether there would have been arrangements for him at the event. He said, “What if I went there and there weren’t any arrangements? If there weren’t any arrangements, then it would have been a problem. That is the only reason why I did not attend Dreamhack,” he said.

A few days prior to the event, Dynamo told his fans that he would attend Dreamhack Hyderabad 2022 and also mentioned that he would host a meet-and-greet session on the last day of the event for them. Dynamo revealed that he planned to attend the event, but due to the lack of cooperation from the management team, he canceled it. “I planned to attend the event. I even told you guys we would meet on 6th November. I planned everything for the event. But if there is no confirmation from them, then why would I go?”

On the last day of Dreamhack, i.e., 6th November, an overwhelming number of fans attend DreamHack Hyderabad 2022. However, things quickly went south due to the overcrowding, and police had to intervene to disperse the crowd. For the safety of all the attendees, the meet-up sessions had to be canceled.
