Warzone Pacific dropped on 8th December 2021 after months of anticipation and hype but it looks like not everyone is happy with the new update. Popular content creator Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm IV feels that the map, gameplay, and the decisions made by the developers are all misaligned with his expectations.
Why does Dr Disrespect want to uninstall Warzone
After trying out the game at launch, Dr Disrespect revealed that he wants to uninstall the game because he feels something is broken. He is unhappy with the decision to move to a WWII setting and how bad the time-to-kill (TTK) is with weapons, feeling like they don’t kill anyone. After his switch from Twitch to YouTube, Doc has primarily been playing Warzone and whenever he switches to a different game he notices a dip in his viewership.
He said on stream, “I just don’t know what else to say. It’s bad. Warzone is supposed to be this over-the-top blockbuster video game that you can have fun with because it’s super high rep, getting that feeling. I’m really close to uninstalling and switching over to Battlefield 2042 where I’ll lose 98% of my audience.”
Despite wanting to switch to a different game, he might not do so as his viewership when streaming other games suffers greatly. This is a problem that a lot of content creators face and it doesn’t seem that Doc will be changing games anytime soon. Earlier this year a lot of popular Warzone content creators made the switch to Apex Legends due to the rampant cheating at the time. Nicholas “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff and other big Warzone streamers have been away from Warzone for months, and Doc might do the same if he is not happy playing Warzone long-term.
Doc has made claims of quitting Warzone several times in the past but he usually sticks around. He is not completely unhappy with the new update and he has praised the new points of interest (POI's), the engagements and the amount of cash that is available in Pacific Caldera.
