Dr Disrespect Uninstalls Modern Warfare 2 in Just 3 Days
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) is the latest entry in the iconic series. The game was released worldwide on 28th October for players to enjoy and has brought forth an immersive experience for players and introduced them to incredible graphics and realistic combat mechanics. However, since its global launch, Modern Warfare 2 has had its fair share of problems including server connection errors, game crashes, and audio issues. YouTube streamer and internet icon Dr Disrespect uninstalled Modern Warfare 2 just a few days after its launch, after a series of questionable spawns in the game.
Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, better known by his online alias Dr Disrespect, is one of the biggest streamers in the gaming community and his content brings in thousands of viewers. He has always been vocal while commenting on the state of shooter games and he recently uninstalled the latest Call of Duty release.
Dr Disrespect says he wants to have some fun
Dr Disrespect was playing on Mercado Las Almas which offers fast-paced gameplay and he was caught in a weird cycle where he was facing questionable spawns. This meant that the Doc died multiple times after respawning in vulnerable spots. Triggered by this, Dr Disrespect exited the game and uninstalled it. Notably, he was playing with Timothy “TimTheTatman” John Betar and Jack "CouRage" Dunlop.
Dr Disrespect said, “That’s all I can handle. Yeah, I’m uninstalling the game right now actually. I’m switching over to Overwatch, I’m gonna have some fun. Three days. That was…I’m good.”
His viewers and his friends in the party found the whole ordeal funny and Jack and Tim also stated that they were surprised that he played the game for three days before uninstalling it.
Earlier, Doc called Infinity Ward’s newest title “decent” and even awarded it a rating of 4.5 out of 10. While streaming on 28th October and trying out the game for the first time, Doc said, “Like decent as in 4.5 out of 10. Let me go and break down everything. Actually, the glitching and everything that was happening, that was kind of a little pain in the a**. For a triple-A, $100 Million marketing budgeted game, right? Weapons feel weird when you start putting a thousand attachments on them – they get worse and worse.”
The two-time has talked openly about other issues with MW2, pointing out how the audio is also “weird” and how the game has “restrictive” movement.
