After being relegated to the lower bracket by Global Esports, DAMWON Gaming (DWG) returned to its winning ways and secured a dominant win against REJECT. With a solid 2-0 win today, DWG will be going up against BOOM Esports tomorrow to keep up its hopes of winning the APAC LCQ. After two back-to-back losses against Full Sense and DWG, REJECT will exit from the APAC LCQ.

Match 1 (DAMWON won 13-3)
DAMWON started off with a one-sided 10-2 lead, on Bind, in the first half and comfortably closed the game with a 13-3 scoreline. DWG’s Kim “T3xture” Na-ra’s performance tonight was among the best in the event so far and he will be a player to watch out for in the coming days.
Match 2 (DAMWON won 13-6)
REJECT put up a solid fight on Ascent in the first half with DWG barely edging past with a 6-5 scoreline. However, the second half turned out to be one sided with DAMWON winning six rounds and ending the game 13-6.
DWG will be going up against BOOM Esports tomorrow to make its way out of the lower bracket. If the Korean team secures a win in its next matchup, the team could be facing off against Global Esports for the second time in the event.
DAMWON Gaming vs REJECT Highlights
T3xture had a field day on Jett today with the player securing 35 kills overall. The player had a headshot ratio of 42%, with no one else in either team even coming close to the 40% mark. He will definitely be a player to watch out for.
REJECT’s Kazuki “SamuraiDeeper” Nouno who has been signed as a trial player failed to perform today while being heavily outclassed by DAMWON’s Duelists. REJECT will be looking to reorganize its squad and come back stronger next season.
