Capcom Cup is finally coming back after a three-year break with top Street Fighter V players duking it out to be named champion. With the release of Street Fighter VI in a few months, the tournament marks the last major event for Street Fighter V and the culmination of the 2022 Capcom Pro Tour. Capcom Cup 9 features a total prize pool of more than $300,000 USD. 

Capcom Cup 9: Schedule and LCQ details

The Capcom Cup returns on 12th February and will last through the week, ending with the Grand Finals on 19th February 2023. The event will be held in Los Angeles, California, USA in the AVALON Hollywood & Bardot. The tournament will feature a total of 48 players including the winner of EVO 2022, the 19 Online Premiers from different regions, and winners from World Warrior Circuit's Regional Finals. Additionally, the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier also has a slot for the cup.

Here are the players currently qualified for the&nbsp;Capcom Cup 9.

The qualified players will play in a double-elimination format over the course of four days of tournament play.

The first two days of the cup will feature the Last Chance Qualifiers where the 48th participant of the Capcom Cup 9 will be determined. This will be followed by Group Stages for the next three days. The SFL (Street Fighter League) World Championship will take place on the 17th and 18th February, followed by the Grand Finals on 19th February.

The SFL World Championship will feature champions of all three leagues (Street Fighter League: Pro-JP 2022, Street Fighter League: Pro-US 2022, and Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2022) and they will compete in a grueling season-ender for a chance at a $150,000 prize pool.
