Developers have fixed a plethora of bugs in the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Just a few weeks after the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the developers of the game put out a patch fixing a number of bugs, audio issues, and quality-of-life improvements to the games. Here are the changes made in the latest Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 patch released on 22nd November. 

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 November 22 patch

The patch addressed a number of UI improvements and got rid of several bugs in the games.  

  • Improvements made to help better navigate Camos including adding controller bumper navigation to jump between categories and a toggle option to show/hide locked Camos. 

  • Increased audio notification for when The Jailer enters the Gulag.

  • Armor Piercing Ammunition: Removed damage multiplier against armored opponents

The following issues were fixed in the current patch:

  • Collision issues with various elements across the game that allowed players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.

  • Audio occlusion and directional audio.

  • Gunsmith to now track Weapon progression properly.

  • Overkill doesn't let players equip the same Weapon as both a Primary and a Secondary anymore.

  • Correct number of Battle Pass Tokens now appear on the Battle Pass Menu.

  • Season Countdown Timer on the Battle Pass Menu now indicates the correct amount of time remaining.

  • Controller input is now accurate while navigating menus.

  • Players looking down no longer appear erratic to others.

  • Players no longer prevented from launching the game due to GPU compatibility.

  • Focused Mode no longer crashes the client while the Display Mode was set to Windowed.

  • PlayStation Store icon no longer remains stuck on screen after experiencing a network error.

  • Progression for the “Dragon in Downtown” Calling Card to now track properly.

  • Correct Operator icon now appears while navigating to select a custom skin for Kleo.

  • Players no longer get kicked back to the main menu when navigating to select the PDSW 528 Armory while customizing a Loadout.

  • Correct progression requirement now appears in the Prestige menu.

  • Players no longer hear notifications at times when they should not.

  • Platinum Camo unlock requirements display correctly after having unlocked it.

  • Camera shake while spectating another player.

  • Operator model hands no longer appear invisible while ledge hanging.

  • Correct Weapons now appear in the player Showcase.

Warzone specific changes:

  • Buy Station inventory has been slightly adjusted to remove Counter UAV and Tactical Camera.

  • Visual upgrade to Contract activation phone in Battle Royale.

  • Players now consistently hear others via Proximity Chat.

  • Stickers earned via DMZ Extractions appear properly on Weapons.

  • PlayStation Players now see Sony profile usernames properly.

  • Parachute deployment no longer crashes the game.

  • Players no longer lose all control of mouse movement if interacting with a container with Mixed Backpack behavior.

Battle Royale

  • Players eliminated in the Gulag no longer spectate the enemy team nor spectate from underneath the playable area.

  • Players eliminated in the Gulag now appear properly in the Buy Station for squad members to buy back.

  • Players no longer skip the downed state and immediately perish despite having an assimilated squad member still alive.

  • After Action Report now correctly appears after a match.

DMZ

  • Players no longer get kicked out of the Backpack interface if looting an eliminated Player opponent that disconnects during the interaction.

  • Players can properly equip Lethal and Tactical equipment.

  • Players will no longer encounter the “Failed to Connect to Datacenters” error while extracting.

  • Players will no longer have lobby-wide microphone input during matchmaking.

  • Players can no longer keep Armor Plate Carrier upgrades between matches despite having been eliminated.

  • Players no longer lose their Backpack upgrade when extracting after having been revived.

  • Fixed an issue causing players to incorrectly extract their insured Weapon as a contraband Weapon.
