Caedrel comments about League of Legends fans
The caster commented on the way uninformed fans watch the tournament. He said that most of them do not follow other leagues except for a handful of fans. Caedrel stated that the hardcore fans who watch the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and League of Legends Pro League (LPL) have relatively valid opinions about teams, players, and standings since they watch the leagues and follow them the whole season. “Some of the opinions are actually decent because they’ve watched the regions.”
Caedrel went on a rant about the fans who do not watch the region but come into the tournament with a bias. “Oh Worlds? T1 is there. Let’s go T1. Every single one of them is the best player in the entire world,” he mimicked the T1 fans.
He then stated that this reaction holds true for fans of every region. Caedrel addressed the biases surrounding teams like G2 Esports, Damwon Kia, and even individual players like Rasmus "caPs" Borregaard Winther.
Only time will tell how accurate Caedrel’s Worlds 2022 tier list is. League of Legends Worlds 2022 is kicking off on 29th September with the opening stage of Play-ins. Head on to Worlds 2022 Play-in: Teams, Groups, Schedule & More to keep up with the updates.
