Apex Legends pro ImperialHal ranted on his stream after losing a tournament alongside his TSM teammates.
He stated that he’s tired of losing and wants to quit competitive Apex Legends.

Team SoloMid’s (TSM) Apex Legends pro Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen is one of the top players in the esports scene and has tasted success at an international level. However, being a pro player does not come easily and is at times mentally taxing. ImperialHal was recently seen on stream, talking about wanting to quit the competitive scene of Apex Legends, or at least change teams. Notably, he’s also been very vocal about the game on social media platforms and even stated that if the next season of Apex Legends – Season 15 – does not work out, the battle royale may be “doomed.”

ImperialHal rants on stream

Recently, TSM participated in the Oversight tournament as one of the invited teams but after a disappointing performance, TSM placed 17th in the tournament and was eliminated. ImperialHal stated that he was indeed angry and added, “I’m tired of f**** losing, bro. I’m [on] the brink of, like, either not playing competitive anymore or just joining another team.” Continuing, he said, “I’m tired of dying to stupid f**** shit and dealing with stupid f**** teams that don’t know what they are doing. I’d rather just not play instead of losing anymore.

ImperialHal said he’s tired of holding the feelings in for a long time and that he does not care. He ranted, “Busting my ass off just to f**** get bottom ten and barely reach top five. I’m not accepting that. It’s not a rough patch,” he added.

Additionally, he addressed some of the problems that TSM has faced as a team in the past few months and noted that he has been dissatisfied with the performance with Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) just around the corner.

ImperialHal worries about Apex Legends

Notably, on 19th October, Hal wrote on Twitter, “Apex better have a banger Season 15 or this game is doomed.” When Christian "Nokokopuffs" Feliciano mentioned switching over to Overwatch 2, Hal replied, “Oh 100% overwatch is fun asf but can't retain the same viewership so no reason for me to play it.

Likewise, pros had their doubts about the reforged Kings Canyon map, which was released in Season 14. ImperialHal even joked about asking Respawn Entertainment to remove the map completely from ranked mode. He then explained in August, “I wanna be against having KC [Kings Canyon] in comp. If they, you know like I said, fix the fu**** loot and it’ll be fine. Technically, Valkyrie would also still be good on this map even with the nerfs. Because there are not like crazy ass mountains on this map. Maybe that’s why they nerfed her because they are planning on putting KC in comp.

Season 15 of Apex Legends is scheduled to release on 1st November and it will feature a new map. Fans who are invested in the esports scene of Apex Legends also have good news with the ALGS season kicking off on 6th November.
