Apex Legends Monsters Within Event Revealed

Apex Legends is set to introduce its third Halloween event starting 12th October. There will be a brand new Arenas map that will be added as part of the event and the game is also cutting down on the “fear of missing out” (FOMO) by making the new cosmetics a permanent addition to the game.

There will be event-exclusive packs that players can earn and unlike other events where the cosmetics become unattainable, players will now be able to get them at anytime in the future. Shadow Royale is also making a return with the fan-favorite game mode set to bring back wall running all over again to Apex Legends for three weeks. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming event.

Encore Arenas Map

Encore is located at Seer's home planet, Boreas, and is one of the main arenas where he has been seen fighting. The layout offers combat over two high-ground power positions. On one side we have a VIP Lounge. The lounge platform provides direct combat. The map design is different from what we have seen so far and it is an original design unlike most Arenas maps which are based on existing points of interest (POIs).

Shadow Royale Will Return as A Limited-Time Mode

It is that time of the year when Apex Legends players get to experience wall running with Shadow Royale returning after its first appearance in October 2020. Shadow Royale will feature in the the last week of this event. All slain Legends respawn in a Shadow-Form to exact revenge and help their living squadmates. Shadow lives are infinite, and your squad will not be eliminated until the last living Legend falls. When two teammates die, you will get access to an AI-controlled Prowler (dog-like beast) that will fight alongside you.

The game mode will be available from 26th October to 2nd November during week three of the event.

Rewards Track and Monsters Event Packs

There will be three reward tracks across three weeks which will allow players to unlock limited-time cosmetics including Apex packs, a Loba skin, sprays and more.

• Week One: 12th October to 19th October

• Week Two: 19th October to 26th October

• Week Three: 26th October to 2nd November

New to this event are special limited edition Monsters Within Packs. For 400 Apex Coins, players can get an Event Thematic Pack that’s guaranteed to have a non-dupe event-limited item. Respawn will also be offering some classic skins from previous Halloween events on the Apex Store, like Wraith’s “Mistress of Evil” and Crypto’s “Deadly Byte” skins.

Monsters Within Packs are available for a limited time during the Monsters Within Event, but the items will always be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items

• Monsters Within Packs guarantee you one non-duplicate Monsters Within Thematic Event item

• The new thematic event will introduce 40 new items around the Monsters Within theme

• Monsters Within items can always be crafted with crafting metals. After two seasons, crafting metal costs of Monsters Within Items may be reduced.
