Apex Legends is set to introduce a brand new heirloom as part of its next collection event.
Crypto is getting his heirloom in the Warriors event along with the return of Control and a new Arena map.
The event will also offer free and in-store items that players can obtain starting 29th March.

Respawn Entertainment just announced Apex Legends’ next collection event. Crypto is set to get his heirloom after months of fan speculation. Alongside the new Collection event comes a brand new map for Arenas and fans will get to jump into Control once again. Fans were unhappy with the removal of Control, which is Respawn’s new 9v9 game mode that lasted for just a couple of weeks earlier this season. This time around, Control will return with a brand new map set in Caustic Treatment.

What’s new in Apex Legends’ Warriors Collection event?

Here is everything new that is coming with the Warriors Collection event in Apex Legends:

New Arena Map: Drop-Off

The new map has two key points of interest (POIs) - Observation Deck and Deployment Line. Observation Deck offers a higher vantage point, access to an airdrop, and a cover from long-range combat. However, lower ceilings limit some of the vertical combat capabilities for Legends, but also provide more straightforward and predictable battles for gunfights.

Deployment Line is a long path that effectively divides the map in two, eventually converging into the loading bay. Cargo shipment containers travel slowly along the line, acting as dynamic cover that players can use.

Warriors Collection Event

The Warriors Collection event will have a set of cosmetics up for grabs for free via a rewards tracker. You can earn 1,600 points per day and the rewards tracker challenges refresh daily. There are also long-term challenges that reward four unique badges if you complete them during the event.

All of these challenges also stack with your Battle Pass, so you can complete multiple challenges at once. The Warriors Collection Event also introduces a brand new set of 24 limited-time cosmetics. Unlocking all 24 cosmetics will automatically reward players with the Crypto heirloom

Balance Changes

The update does not have too many balance changes but here’s what’s changing with the new update:

G7 Scout

  • Double Tap burst fire delay reduced from 0.475 to 0.375.

  • Double Tap recoil improvements.

  • Ammo reserves increased from 120 to 140.

Hop-Up Spawn Rate Adjustments

  • Increased spawn rate for Hammerpoint Rounds and Kinetic Feeder.

  • Reduced spawn rate for Deadeye's Tempo, Shatter Caps, and Boosted Loader.

Apex Legends’ Warriors Collection event kicks off on 29th March 2022.
