After Misfits sold their LEC spot to Team Heretics, the Spanish organization is looking to rope in the former G2 Esports jungler.
Team Heretics have also signed on former Unicorns of Love and Misfits players, and the ex-head coach for Mad Lions.

G2 Esports jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski is set to join Team Heretics according to BLIX.GG reporter Alejandro Gomis. Three weeks ago Jankos posted a video on his YouTube channel titled ‘I'm leaving G2 Esports’. Gomis reported that Team Heretics had reached a ‘100k buyout agreement’ with G2 Esports for the jungler, which could also go higher. LEC Wooloo also later confirmed the report of Jankos joining the team.

Team Heretics is building a League of Legends roster to watch out for

Gomis reported earlier that Team Heretics has reached a verbal agreement with Korean mid laner Lee “Ruby” Sol-min who previously played for Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, Unicorns of Love's academy team.

Ruby has also played in both the League of Legends Championship Korea (LCK) and League of Legends Pro League (LPL). He is also said to be joined by Misfits Gaming’s Mertai "Mersa" Sari. The team will field Jakob "Jackspektra" Gullvag Kepple as their Attack Damange Carry (ADC) to complete their bottom lane. He joined the organisation in January this year. The team is also investing in a new head coach by singing on former Evil Geniuses’ Peter Dun. Dun has previously been head coach for MAD Lions.

Team Heretics is a Spanish esports organisation founded by Youtuber Jorge “Goorgo” Orejudo and has had a major presence in the European Masters (EM), equivalent to the now defunct Challenger Series. The European Masters hosts teams from all 11 European Regional Leagues (ERL). Team Heretics recently won SuperLiga Summer and the European Masters 2022, beating out Team BDS Academy. After Misfits decided to move away from the LEC, Team Heretics reportedly bought its spot for nearly $30 million USD.

As a veteran player of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), Jankos brings in a lot of experience playing against some of the best teams in the region and in the world. During his five year tenure with G2, he has helped the team win multiple LEC titles. He also helped G2 esports reach the finals of Worlds 2019 making them one of the only two LEC teams to reach the Worlds finals since Riot Season 1 Championship (Worlds 2011).
