The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Split 2 Playoffs recently concluded with DarkZero securing its third LAN trophy in two years. We are now in the endgame for the ALGS Year 3 Championship and 40 of the best teams in the world will be heading to Birmingham, United Kingdom (UK) in hopes of clinching this year’s world championship and a slice of the $2 Million USD prize pool. The event will take place alongside UK’s Insomnia Gaming Festival at the Resorts World Arena from 6th to 10th September.
Tickets for ALGS Year 3 Championship to go on sale from 21st July
Tickets for the ALGS Year 3 Championship will be available from 21st July (8 AM PST). Booking details will be available soon via the Apex Legends Esports Twitter handle and the ALGS website. The recently concluded Split 2 Playoffs saw a sold-out crowd during the finals on 16th July and EA revealed that it was one of the most successful esports events by the publisher to date.

The ALGS Year 3 Championship is the pinnacle of Apex esports, and we’re hosting one of the most exciting competitions to celebrate Apex Legends' fandom. The U.K. has become a hub for competitive Apex Legends in Year 3, and we’re looking forward to closing out the year with one of the biggest weekends for gaming and esports in the region.”
The ALGS Year 3 Championship will take place alongside Insomnia Gaming Festival, the U.K.’s largest gaming festival, further building on the U.K.’s growing stature as an international gaming destination. More details on cross-collaborations between the ALGS Year 3 Championship and Insomnia will be announced in the coming weeks.
The upcoming event will feature some of the best teams in the world including DarkZero, TSM, Alliance, NRG, Moist Esports and more. Fans will be able to attend the event in person and also catch up on the event at Twitch and YouTube or any of the official and unofficial watch parties by Apex Legends content creators.
