Penta Esports, in collaboration with the game streaming platform, Loco, has announced its first Valorant Invitational for the Indian esports scene. Named “Penta Esports Valorant Invitational”, the tournament will be showcasing the eight best performing teams competing for a total prize pool of INR 3,00,000. It is a three-day event that begins on June 11, 2020, and ends with the grand final on Sunday, June 13, 2021. There will also be a music event featuring indie artist, Gamini before the grand final.
“We’re excited to launch Penta Esports. While we have a lot planned for the near future, which I can’t wait to share, we look forward to an amazing show with our Valorant Invitational,” said Kiran Noojibail, co-founder and head of esports at Newgen Gaming. “With some of the top teams from India competing on the same stage, it’ll surely be an amazing watch!”
