Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Challengers SEA Playoffs Begin Today

The top 10 teams from SEA will be competing in the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Challengers SEA Playoffs from today.
The prize pool of the current event is set at $50,000 and teams can also earn circuit points.
The winner of the event will get to compete at Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters event in Reykjavik, Iceland and represent SEA.

The 10 best teams from Southeast Asia will be competing in a four-day tournament for a spot in the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters event in Reykjavik, Iceland. The winner of the event will be representing the SEA region alongside teams from other regions which include North America, EMEA, Brazil, LATAM, Japan, and Korea. The teams will be competing in double elimination brackets with two teams from the same region not being allowed on the same side of the bracket. The teams will be competing for a prize pool of US$50,000 and 270 circuit points.

VCT Stage 2 Challengers SEA Playoffs Format

Teams will be drawn into a 10-team, double-elimination bracket with the added rule of not allowing two teams from the same region to be on the same side of the bracket. The upper side of the bracket is Best of 3 up to the winners final, while the lower bracket is Best of 1s for the first three rounds, followed by the Best of 3 to the loser's final, eventually concluding with a Best of 5 grand final.

The best Southeast Asian team will be heading to VCT Masters: Reykjavik with a bigger prize pool and circuit points up for grabs. Collecting circuit points allows teams to make it into the VCT Champions event which will take place at the end of 2021. The Challengers playoff features a prize pool of US$50,000 and 270 circuit points.
