Check if Valorant Servers Are Online

Head to the official Riot Games Support Twitter account at: https://twitter.com/riotsupport?lang=en

Solution 1: Restart Riot Vanguard and Valorant

1. Exit Valorant.
2. Right-click on your Taskbar.
3. Click on Task Manager.
4. Search for Riot Vanguard and other processes starting with “Riot”.
5. Right-click on all of the Riot processes and click “End Process”.
6. Start Valorant.

Solution 2: Restart your PC

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard 
2. Click on the Power icon
3. Click on Restart

5. You should now get a new window with a black screen.
6. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
7. Type "ipconfig /registerdns" and press Enter.
8. Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter.
9. Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter.
10. Type "netsh winsock reset" and press Enter.
11. Restart your computer.

Solution 4: Change DNS

Network issues might cause the “there was an error connecting to the platform” error in Valorant. You should consider changing your DNS on your computer or on your router to see if it helps. Login to your router and head to the setup page. Leave all existing settings intact and change your primary and secondary DNS to any of the following:

• 4.2.2.2
