Valorant tournaments in India are set to bring out the best in players with Riot officially making an entry into the subcontinent. The developers announced last month that they are “We're thrilled with the response to our launch of VALORANT in India and South Asia and are assessing our plans for next steps on our presence in the region, including esports.” While we do not have our own region in this year’s Valorant Champions Tour, things are looking very promising for Indian fans, and we just might be eligible for next year’s edition of Champions Tour. Valorant Tournaments in India are organized by the likes of The Esports Club, Skyesports, PayTM First Games, and ESPL. Here are all the upcoming Valorant Tournaments in India that you should keep an eye out for. 

Valorant Tournaments in India: Upcoming Events in 2021

There are three major tournaments that you should keep an eye out for - Skyesports League 2021, ESPL Valorant PowerUp, and The Esports Club Challenger Series. Skyesports and TEC are yet to announce tournament dates but we can expect announcements shortly. ESPL Valorant PowerUp is set to comment later this month. Here are all the details for the upcoming events: 

ESPL Valorant Power Up India

The ESPL Valorant PowerUp tournament is set to feature some of the best talents in the country including Global Esports, Team Mahi, GodLike Esports, XTZ Esports, and more. 16 teams will participate in the upcoming only event for a prize pool of the INR 750,000 ($10,250). The event is a result of a partnership between ESPL and Skyesports.

Skyesports League 2021

Skyesports posted an update yesterday that they intend to bring back the popular Skyesports Valorant League for 2021 and have asked fans to stay tuned for updates. There is no word on the tournament start date or prize pool just yet, and we will update the information as soon as it is available.

The Esports Club Valorant Challenger Series

The Esports Club had some of the most exciting and eventful events for Valorant esports in India with five Challenger Series events that concluded last year. We also had the TEC Invitational which concluded earlier this month. The organization will be back with its 2021 line-up of events in the coming months but there is no word on the tournament start date or prize pool just yet, and we will update the information as soon as it is available.
