GG1 Weekend Wars Announced For Free Fire, Fortnite, VALORANT, CS:GO and CoDM

GoodGame1 has announced the GG1 Weekend Wars tournament featuring top content creators and teams battling across six game titles including VALORANT, Call of Duty: Mobile, Fortnite, CS:GO, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Free Fire. The total prize pool for the GG1 Weekend Wars is Rs. 11,50,000 that will be awarded in cash and Freebucks. The online tournament will start on 11th December and end on 20th December with all matches being livestreamed on MX player and the official GoodGame1 YouTube channel in both English and Hindi. 

GoodGame1 GG1 Weekend Wars

The tournament will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for two weeks between 11th and 20th and December. In the first week, the VALORANT, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Fortnite segments of the GG1 Weekend Wars will be played. The second week will see teams clashing in CS:GO, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Free Fire. Most titles will see eight teams playing, captained by well-known content creators. GoodGame1 has released more details about the tournament.

VALORANT

India’s most notable content creators for GG1 Valorant Weekend Wars are:

  • Snax Gaming
  • Ankkita C
  • Mili kya Mili
  • RonaK
  • Psy Gaming
  • Sikhwarrior
  • HydraFlick
  • Mavi

Each captain’s team will have four more players consisting of other prominent personalities from the esports scene such as Aurum, iMazik, Daljitsk, and haiVaan. The teams will compete in qualifiers and eliminations to make it to the finals where one team will be crowned and take away a chunk of the Rs. 3,00,000 prize pool. The GG1 Valorant Weekend Wars prize pool will have Rs. 1,50,000 is in cash and Rs. 1,50,000 is in Freebucks. Matches will begin at 11 am IST each day.

Call of Duty: Mobile

The GG1 Call of Duty: Mobile Weekend Wars will also feature eight of the best teams from the region. This includes the 2020 CODM World Championship Finalists Team Mayhem along with:

  • S8UL
  • GodLike
  • Reckoning Esports
  • 8th Wonder
  • Force1
  • Team IND
  • BLIND Esports

It will be played from 3 pm IST onwards on 11th, 12th, and 13th December. Teams will play through qualifiers and eliminators to make it to the finals. Every match will be best-of-three games on the Search and Destroy mode. The prize pool for Call of Duty: Mobile is Rs. 1,50,000. Of this, Rs. 75,000 is in Freebucks while Rs. 75,000 is in cash.

Fortnite

The Fortnite matches will be played on 11th, 12th, and 13th December from 7 pm IST onwards. The top 48 duos from India will play four matches per day for a total of 12 matches to decide the champion. The prize pool for Fortnite is Rs. 2,00,000 in cash and Freebucks. Of this, Rs. 1,00,000 is in cash while Rs. 1,00,000 is in Freebucks.

CS: GO

Counter-Strike rosters from across the country will battle for three days on 18th, 19th, and 20th December to fight for the championship. Matches will begin at 11 am IST on each day. The prize pool for CS: GO is Rs. 1,50,000 in cash and Freebucks. Of this, Rs. 75,000 is in cash while Rs. 75,000 is in Freebucks. The teams will be announced close to the event.

Rainbow Six: Siege

On 18th, 19th, and 20th December, eight of India’s best Rainbow Six teams will duke it out through several rounds of matches to make it to the finals where a champion will be crowned. It will begin at 3 pm IST on each day. The prize pool for Rainbow Six is Rs.1,50,000 in cash and Freebucks. Of this, Rs. 75,000 is in cash while Rs. 75,000 is in Freebucks. Teams will be announced at a later date.

Free Fire

Twelve of India’s best Free Fire squads will battle it out on 19th and 20th December from 7 pm IST onwards to decide the winners. Six matches will be played per day on Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory for a total of 12 matches. It has a prize pool of Rs. 2,00,000 in cash and Freebucks. Of this, Rs. 1,00,000 is in cash while Rs. 1,00,000 is in Freebucks. Participating teams will be announced later.
