NODWIN Gaming is venturing into VALORANT by announcing its very first tournament under the gaming title. The biggest esports tournament organizers in India are bringing a VALORANT Invitational tournament with a star-studded lineup of gamers, streamers, and influencers, all set to take place on 4th August.

There does not seem to be any prizepool attached to the tournament which will be featuring a total of 8 directly invited teams, consisting of some of the biggest gaming personalities within the country like Ankit ‘V3NOM’ Panth, Shagufta ‘XYAA’ Iqbal, Rohan ‘HYDRAFLICK’ Ledwani, and more.

NODWIN Gaming VALORANT Invitational

The first VALORANT tournament being organized by NODWIN Gaming seems to be an invite-only based event which will be a one-day affair between 8 teams scheduled to take place on 4th August. The event will be live-streamed on both NODWIN’s YouTube channel along with the respective channels of all the other participants. The 8 directly invited teams which will be competing in this event are as follows,

Team Fnatic Nemo

After having established themselves in India through a PUBG Mobile team, the European organization has been welcomed with open arms quickly becoming one of the favourites within the mobile esports scene.

Under the leadership of Nimish ‘Nemo’ Raut, Fnatic India has become one of the PUBG Mobile powerhouses in the country. He will be seen in action at the competition along with his team, but sadly no information about his other teammates has been revealed yet.

Team 8BIT Thug

The founder of Team 8Bit Animesh ‘8Bit_Thug’ Agarwal will be leading this team at the competition. The organization’s PUBG Mobile team is considered to be amongst the best in the country, though other participating members of the team have not been disclosed at the moment we all have a pretty good idea who all can be expected to represent the team at the event.

Team Riot

The developers and publishers of the game itself will be a part of this invitational. The following team will be lead by Sukamal Pegu who is Head of Publishing for Riot Games. Other players representing the team have not been revealed at this point in time.

Team V3NOM

The founder of Team Brutality Ankit ‘V3NOM’ Panth will be seen in action at the event. He will probably be playing with other members of Team Brutality but nothing is set in stone at the moment.

Team HydraFlick

Popular YouTube gaming personality and professional gamer Rohan ‘HydraFlick’ Ledwani will also be seen in action at the invitational, leading his team from the front. He has been streaming quite a lot of VALORANT as of late and seems to have a good idea of how to play the game.

One of the most popular YouTube Indian streamer Shagufta ‘XYAA’ Iqbal will be leading this team in the event. Though other members of her team have not been revealed yet, it seems that it might be an all-female lineup as NODWIN states that “Her team will ensure they give the boys a run for their money.”

Global Esports

One of India’s biggest esports organizations Global eSports will be seen fielding their own roster at the event. The org has teams across multiple gaming titles like Dota 2, CS:GO, Fortnite, Overwatch, PUBG, and more, both within India and outside of the country as well. Who will be representing them at the tournament is not known at this point of time.

The following team will consist of members of the organization itself. It will be led by Gautam Virk along with other members of the organization which have not been disclosed yet.

We have PUBG Mobile organizations, esports organizations, streamers who play the game on the daily, and then a team from the developers of the game themselves, all coming together to play VALORANT. The absence of a prize pool and the fact that this is a single day event points towards this being a fun tournament just to spread awareness about the game while checking the waters for future events.
