The competition will be held online with LCK teams competing from LoL Park in Seoul and LPL teams from the Shanghai LPL Arena. The Mid-Season Cup will be broadcast live on watch.lolesports.com

Additionally, in order to ensure the integrity of the competition, Riot Games will artificially standardize the ping level to 30-40m/s through the use of third-party tools. The close proximity of the LCK and LPL allows for the opportunity to conduct this inter-league competition that fans all over the world are eager to see.

The matches comprise the first of multiple events that will be held in May to replace the 2020 Mid-Season Invitational. Additional details on other new events happening in the Mid-Season Invitational window will be announced in the coming weeks.
