Recent leaks suggest that there have been changes made to Kratos’ appearance in the game, along with updating shop assets for this outfit.
We can expect the entire Oathbreaker bundle to be featured in the Item Shop, however, no new God of War-themed items have been added to the game so far.

Chapter 5 Season 2 has brought several enticing additions to Fortnite, including collaborations with Nike, a Lego Mechanical Mayhem update, and the Return of Midas and other Greek gods into the battle royale. Regardless of all these new features, many fans are still wondering when the legendary God of War will make his return to the game.

The Kratos Gaming Legends Series outfit was first introduced as part of the Oathbreaker set back in Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite. Since its initial launch, it was last spotted over three years ago on 19th March 2021. However, recent leaks suggest that the skin will be featured in the Item Shop once again, as the season of Myths and Mortals unfolds. Without further ado, let’s explore all the possibilities of Kratos returning to Fortnite.

Kratos Oathbreaker Bundle Is Expected to Return Soon for the Season of Myths and Mortals

According to reliable Fortnite leakers and Dataminers, the Kratos outfit and the Armored variant will possibly return to the Item Shop for Chapter 5 Season 2, along with the entire Oathbreaker set consisting of the Leviathan Axe, the Guardian Shield, the Mimir Back Bling, and the Freezing Burst emote. We can also expect it to follow the same price of 2,200 V-Bucks.

This was first mentioned by leakers ShiinaBR, and  HYPEX, with creator iFireMonkey corroborating it and adding further details, capturing the attention of several fans. The data mined information reportedly revealed that the devs have made changes to Kratos’ appearance, making him look angrier. This was followed by updating his shop assets and re-adding the shop tab for this outfit.

However, no new God of War-themed cosmetics or collaborations seem to be included in the data. Despite the absence of new additions, the return of the Oathbreaker set would be welcomed by many fans, as Kratos is one of the most sought-after outfits in the entire game, right alongside Travis Scott.

Considering that the season of Myths and Mortals focuses on the Greek era and has already featured gods like Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, it would be befitting for the God of War to be showcased as well.

If you are one among the fans looking forward to purchasing Kratos, make sure to check out the Item Shop every day, as it is most likely that Epic Games will release this skin without any announcement. Although no official date has been declared, many are expecting the God of War to be featured before the end of Chapter 5 Season 2 on 24th May.
