When Is Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Launching?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will enter their next phase with the release of Season 4 and players are excited to see what Activision has in store for them. Season 3 was already eventful with the release of two 6v6 maps and the return of Gunfight in Modern Warfare 2. 

Warzone 2 got access to Ranked Play and a number of gameplay changes that have shaken up the meta. Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 should be even more exciting and if you are wondering what the release date for the new content drop is, here’s what you need to know.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Release Date

Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is expected to drop on 14th June. While there is no official release date yet, we can predict the release date based on the time period of the Season 3 battle pass.

Activision is yet to reveal what new content will be available as part of the new content update, but we can expect the following: 

• Balance changes

• New weapons 

• New battle pass

• New cosmetics 

The meta is in a very healthy state, and both the pro and casual communities have not raised any major concerns regarding weapon balancing. Players are unhappy with the current state of DMZ and want a more active playstyle to dominate the meta instead of camping being the best strategy.

There will also be a new battle pass with the launch of the new season. If you have not completed the Season 3 battle pass yet, you have around a month to get your battle pass rewards that have not been earned yet. We can expect an official announcement from Activision regarding the new content as we get closer to Season 4’s release date.
