What Time Is Overwatch 2 Releasing?
Overwatch has officially gone offline. Overwatch 2 is just a few hours away from going online. The new iteration of the game will bring a bunch of new Heroes, maps, and reworks to the existing roster of heroes. The game will be launching on PC as well as consoles. Players are excited to get their hands on the new game. Here is when Overwatch 2 shall release across the world.
What time is Overwatch 2 coming out?
Overwatch 2 will be released as a free-to-play game on Tuesday, 4th October at 12 pm PDT. Here's what that looks like in a few time zones:
SGT/PHT: 3:00 am, 4th October
IST: 12:30 am, 5th October
EDT: 3:00 pm, 4th October
Players can pre-download the game by heading to the Battle.net client. You will have to complete the Two-Factor Authentication by entering your phone number and linking your account. If you had Overwatch, head over to the Overwatch tab, click on the gear icon next to the 'Play' button and click 'Check for updates. If you don’t have the game or haven’t bought the Watchpoint Pack you’ll be able to download the game after it goes live. Note that you’ll need to create a Battle.net account to get the game.
Compared to its predecessor, the new game promises better graphics, smoother controls, and updated character models. To support this, the developer has slightly upped the minimum requirements for the new game.
