The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2022 Asia Pacific (APAC) Challengers Stage 1 Playoffs brings together the top 20 Valorant teams from the Asia-Pacific region to compete for two spots in VCT 2022: Masters Stage 1. The tournament will feature top talent from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong. VCT APAC Stage 1 has kicked off today with the Play-in stage and will continue till Sunday, 13th March. This will be followed by the Group Stage and Knockouts phase. Apart from one of 2 seats in Masters 1, the teams will also be competing for a piece of the $150,000 USD prize pool.
VCT 2022: APAC Stage 1 Format
VCT Challengers Stage 1 - APAC Finals Play-ins:
Date: 10th -13th March 2022
8 teams will play in GSL (two double-elimination) format.
Top 4 teams will proceed to the next stage.
VCT Challengers Stage 1 - APAC Finals Groups:
Date: 16th -21st March 2022.
16 teams will play in GSL format.
Top 8 teams will proceed to the knockout stage.
VCT Challengers Stage 1 - APAC Finals Knockouts:
Date: 24th - 27th March 2022
8 teams will go through a series of double elimination brackets.
The final 2 teams will be invited to Masters 1.
VCT 2022: APAC Stage 1 Qualified Teams
The following 20 teams have proven their skills and successfully fought through their local qualifiers to compete in Playoffs. These teams’ local performances in the various national Challengers events have seeded them into Playoffs and determine their starting point in this event.

Indonesia: BOOM Esports, BOY WITH LOVE, ONIC Esports

Taiwan/Hong Kong: Oblivion Force, Griffin E-Sports
South Asia: Velocity Gaming, Global Esports
Oceania: Bonkers
