Valorant’s Episode 3 Act 1 Battle Pass: Everything You Need to Know

Valorant’s Episode 3 Act 1 Battle Pass will be available on 22 June, 2021 along with the launch of Episode 3 and the game’s latest agent KAY/O. The biggest change that is happening with the new battle pass is that players will now get access to a squad XP boost. Players who take part in the Year One event from 22 June 2021 to 6 July 2021 will get access to an XP boost of up to 20% depending on how many players they queue with. There will also be a free YR1 pass with its own items to celebrate the game’s first anniversary. Here is a quick overview of everything that is included in the brand-new Episode 3 Act 1 Battle Pass.

Valorant Senior Producer Preeti Khanolkar talked about how with the new battle pass, Riot Games wanted to create content that appeals to the wide and diverse audience. She mentioned “a player might not love every single thing in the battle pass, but there should always be at least one thing that they absolutely love.” The pass includes Jigsaw skins which allow players to choose from a number of options and it also has the usual weapon skins, gun buddies, cards, sprays and player titles.

Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 Battle Pass Changes

The 20 Radianite from the battle pass has been moved to the free YR1 pass which will also be available to celebrate the game’s first birthday. Instead, the final tier includes a Jigsaw skin which allows players to choose among a selection of agents to show off in the cosmetic.

The battle pass is also getting XP bonuses to help players complete the pass faster. Here is a breakdown of the XP bonuses:

• Party of 1: 0% Bonus XP

• Party of 2: 8% Bonus XP

• Party of 3: 12% Bonus XP

• Party of 4: 16% Bonus XP

• Party of 5: 20% Bonus XP

The XP bonuses will be available only from 22 June to 6 July, 2021.

Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 Battle Pass Price

The cost of the new battle pass is set at 1,000 VP which is approximately $10 depending on your region.

When does Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 end

Episode 3 Act 1 will end on 24 August, 2021 after which the Episode 3 Act 1 battle pass will not longer be available Act 2 will commence.
