Here is how to fix Valorant stuck on login screen error.

Starting up Valorant and getting into a game is usually a matter of a few minutes. However sometimes, Valorant can get stuck on the login screen, with players running into an error of some kind. While Riot Games does its best to keep the servers running smoothly, some unexpected bugs or hiccups may get in the way. Here is what to do if Valorant is stuck on the login screen.

Valorant stuck on login screen: possible fixes

Most Valorant error codes have dedicated fixes while other errors require a bit of trial and error. Getting stuck on the Valorant login screen can be fixed with something as easy as relaunching the game. If that doesn’t work to fix the error, there are a few other things you can try. If the game is stuck on the loading screen for more than five minutes and relaunching the game doesn’t work try the following:

Update your graphic drivers and Windows

Valorant may get stuck on the loading screen due to some software glitches. Make sure your operating system and graphics drivers are updated to their latest version.

Step 1: Navigate to your graphic drivers by opening the device manager.

Step 2: Open the display adapters dropdown and click ‘update driver’ to check for the latest version.

Step 3: Select the ‘search automatically’ option and if necessary download the update and install it.

Players can also download the latest driver update directly from the AMD, Nvidia or Intel website depending on your graphic card manufacturer.

Now try logging in to Valorant again and see if you get the same error.

Check and possibly reduce Valorant’s CPU usage

Valorant may be using up too much of your CPU if your frame rate settings are high, causing it to push your system to its limit. Limiting your in-game FPS tp 30 for when you’re in the lobby is a great way to reduce your CPU usage. You can increase the FPS once you’re in a match again.

Check Network Connection

Network connection issues may also be a reason you’re encountering this error. Check your internet connection and if possible, connect your system to the internet through a cable instead of relying on the Wi-Fi. You can also run a troubleshoot check for your network issues. Alternatively, try using a VPN and see if it resolves your issue.

Reinstall Valorant

If all else fails, and your Valorant is still stuck on the loading screen, try reinstalling the game. You can also try raising a ticket with Riot Games if you keep encountering the issue.
