How To Fix Valorant Error Code -81
As the error message suggests, the first thing you can do is restart the Riot client, login and try to play Valorant. If the problem continues, restart your PC and try to run the game again. If the error still persists, reinstall the game and do a fresh installation of Valorant. Remember to uninstall and reinstall Riot Vanguard as well as update your drivers. Make sure that your antivirus is not blocking the game.
If the error persists make sure Vanguard is enabled. Go to "System Configuration" by pressing the Windows key and searching for it.
Navigate to the "services" tab and check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box at the bottom.
Now scroll down till you find "vgc" and make sure the box is checked. If not, check it to enable vgc.
Now hit the Windows key again and type "Services". Scroll till you find "vgc" and double click on it and make sure the "Startup type" is "Manual". If it's already set to manual or automatic, leave it alone.
