Valorant Champions 2023, the world championship for Valorant esports, is all set to kick off on 6th August.
It seems like the free drops have been leaked ahead of the official announcement and a particular theme runs strong across the leaked assets.
Here’s all we know about the Valorant Champions 2023 drops that were leaked.

Valorant Champions 2023, the World Championship for Valorant esports, is all set to commence on 6th August and conclude on 26th August. This time the championship is headed to Los Angeles, USA and the entire tournament will be played on LAN in front of a live audience across two venues: Shrine Expo Hall and KIA Forum. For the last two years, Riot Games has been announcing the Champions Bundle and a handful of free rewards and drops for tuning into the livestreams on Twitch and YouTube.

This is a continuing trend as we head into Valorant Champions 2023 as data miners and leakers have already found assets that could be a part of the free Valorant Champions 2023 drops. Here’s all we know about them.

Leaked Valorant Champions 2023 Drops

These Valorant Champions drops are free rewards that can be simply earned by watching a Valorant live stream during the tournament. However, you need to fulfill a certain set of criteria to be eligible to earn the drops. Last year, Valorant players and fans were treated to three free rewards via the drops during the championship. They were as follows:

  • “Fire” Title

  • 2022 VCT Champions Curse Spray

  • 2022 VCT Champions Hero Card

According to recent leaks, players and fans will once again be given three free rewards as part of Valorant Champions 2023 drops: a player card, a title, and a spray.

They will most likely be called the following:

  • Champions 2023 Lowrider Card

  • Gekko Diff Spray

  • Lowrider Title

When you look at the leaked assets for the Valorant Champions 2023 drops, you will notice the LA-theme running strongly. Notably, Gekko hails from Los Angeles but has Latin American roots as he fluently converses in Spanish with his mother and Reyna, hinting at the Latin American connection. In fact, the Gekko Diff Spray shows Gekko making an LA sign with swagger.

Therefore, it makes sense why Riot Games has chosen to put this theme of Latin American culture into its Valorant Champions 2023 assets.

However, these leaks must be taken with a pinch of salt since Riot Games has not officially confirmed or revealed them. Closer to the start of the event, players will be given specific dates on which they can get their hands on the free drops by watching the streams.

Watching live games during the mentioned time periods will allow the players to unlock the Valorant Champions 2023 drops. All three items will be directly sent to the players’ Valorant account but before that, players need to ensure that their Riot Games account is linked to YouTube or Twitch.
