Here's all you need to know about Miss Fortune in TFT Set 9.5.

The mid-set for Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 9 or Set 9.5 is called Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound and Riot Games a couple of weeks earlier posted interesting details about this upcoming update.

Riot Games initially revealed Horizonbound, "Explore Bilgewater and Ixtal with Choncc in Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound, where you’ll portal to new regions, uncover new comps, and equip an updated arsenal of items!"

Following this, on 21st August, Riot Games finally posted featurettes about the Bilgewater vertical trait and the units under this trait. Miss Fortune is one of the Bilgewater origin units and players who have already tried her out in the public beta environment (PBE) have been commenting that she is "busted" if given the right build.

With Set 9.5 right around the corner with Patch 13.18, it is important to note which champions are already doing well so that yo can pick them up for your army, win games, and climb the ranked ladder with Horizonbound finally goes live.

Here's all we know about Miss Fortune in TFT Set 9.5 so far!

New Miss Fortune Deals Tons Of Damage in TFT Set 9.5

Before we get into the build for Miss Fortune in Set 9.5 Horizonbound, here are her base stats and other details as per the PBE patch:

  • Health: 650/1170/2106

  • Attack Damage: 50/75/113

  • Damage per Second (DPS): 35/53/79

  • Attack Speed: 0.7

  • Armor: 25

  • Magical Resistance (MR): 25

Miss Fortune is of Bilgewater origin and falls under the Strategist class in TFT Set 9.5.

Her unique ability is as follows:

X Marks the Spot: Miss Fortune calls down an X-shaped rain of bullets, destroying 35% of your target's shields and dealing magic damage. For 5 seconds, enemies hit have incoming shields reduced by 35%.

  • Mana: 10/50

  • Damage : 240% / 360% / 575%

Let us now take a closer look at the two traits:

Bilgewater: Bilgerat attacks and abilities mark enemies. The mark stores a percentage of damage dealt to the enemy by Bilgerats. Marked enemies are struck by a cannonball after 2 seconds, dealing the stored damage plus a flat value as physical damage.

  • 3: 150 + 35% Damage dealt

  • 5: 250 + 50% Damage dealt

  • 7: 400 + 100% Damage dealt

  • 9: 650 + 125% Damage dealt; nearby enemies take 50% of cannonball damage

Strategist: At combat start allies in the front 2 rows gain a shield for 15 seconds and allies in the back 2 rows gain Ability Power.

  • 2: 250 shield; 15 Ability Power

  • 3: 400 shield; 25 Ability Power

  • 4: 600 shield; 40 Ability Power

  • 5: 900 shield; 60 Ability Power

Notably, Miss Fortune is a three-cost unit.

In one of his PBE games, TFT Gameplay Director Stephen "Mort" Mortimer tested out the 3-star carry Miss Fortune build. Upon hitting a level two MF in 2-5, he noted that his team has easily won fights.

If you find yourself in a position where you ended up spending a lot of gold early on to level up Miss Fortune, upon hitting two star and with a couple of good items, you can start to win streak and save gold.

Notably, Miss Fortune 2-star with three Bilgewater units is a good way to keep winning rounds.

While Mort used Jeweled Gauntlet, Spear of Shojin, and Nashor's Tooth on his three-star carry Miss Fortune, you can also use mana items like Archangel's Staff and Adaptive Helm.

Players should note that by herself, Miss Fortune deals magic damage but if you stack on Bilgewater, she also gains physical damage, and therefore, you have a chance of taking down your opponents with a mix of both.
