Overwatch 2 Events and Reveals at BlizzCon 2023

BlizzCon 2023 is right around the corner scheduled to take place from 3^rd to 4^th November in California, USA at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The annual gaming event held by Blizzard Entertainment to promote its major gaming franchises like Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch 2, is returning after four years which makes it all the more special.

Here is a preview of some events and reveals that Overwatch 2 fans can expect to witness in-person or online during BlizzCon 2023.

Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon 2023: Event and Reveals

New Overwatch 2 Hero Announcement and Deep Dive

• 3^rd November - 14:30 PT, 17:30 ET, 22:30 CET, 3:00 IST (4^th Nov)

At this point in time, the entire community knows that the next character that Overwatch 2 plans on releasing is a Tank Hero who hails from Samoa. During this session, developers will explore the art, backstory, and abilities of the new Hero, including the premier of their origin story cinematic.

Overwatch 2: Season 8 and Beyond

• 4^th November - 13:30 PT, 16:30 ET, 21:30 CET, 2:00 IST (4^th Nov)

During this panel, Overwatch 2 developers will talk about what the players can expect in the upcoming Season 8 and beyond, including information about changes in Competitive Play which is also being touted as 'Competitive 3.0'.

In addition to the above, a content roadmap could also be provided so that players know in advance what to expect from the title in 2024.

Overwatch World Cup 2023 Finals

• 3^rd to 4^th November - 9:30 PT, 12:30 ET, 17:30 CET, 22:00 IST

The top eight teams through the Group Stage will be able to compete in the Playoffs at the Anaheim Convention Center in front of a live audience. These competitors will be taking on each other in a single elimination bracket while representing their respective countries to bring the trophy home.

LE SSERAFIM: Live Performance

• 4^th November - 18:15 PT, 21:15 ET, 2:15 CET (5^th Nov), 6:45 IST (5^th Nov)

As part of Overwatch 2's collaboration with K-pop group LE SSERAFIM, a live performance has been organized for all attendees which will also be livestreamed for those joining virtually.

LE SSERAFIM will perform their latest track 'Perfect Night' which has been made in collaboration with Overwatch 2, along with other fan-favorite hits.

These are some events related to Overwatch 2 that will be taking place at BlizzCon 2023. However, players can only expect more from the developers with a lot of information being released for the title over the course of the coming weekend.
