Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded introduced a number of meta-changing balance changes. Submachine guns (SMGs) were dominating the meta for months and Call of Duty’s developers decided to crack down on the Vaznev and TAQ-56 which were outliers in the meta. The recent balance changes forced players to shift towards other weapons and the Bas-P has come out as a clear winner in Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded.
Best Bas-P Loadout in Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded
This new loadout was created by OpTic Texas’ Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro who came up with an off-meta build for the Bas-P that is dominating lobbies. The pro player did admit that it might not be the best build for the weapon and you may want to experiment with the attachments a little to see what works best for you.
Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider
Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
Stock: Bruen Flash V4
The combination of attachments in the build helps reduce recoil and makes the weapon feel as snappy as possible. You can pair the weapon with a sniper to ensure you can compete against other players at all ranges, or you could go for a double-primary loadout if that suits your fancy.
With both the Vaznev and TAQ-56 being nowhere near as good as they used to be, you might want to consider switching to the Bas-P or a different SMG. The meta has still not settled so the opinions of pro players and streamers may change as we get used to the new balance patch.
The Cronen Squall is also an excellent weapon to use in the current meta. We covered Aydan’s Cronen Squall loadout in case you want to give it a shot. If you are not a fan of the Bas-P, you can consider using the PDSW-528 instead which is also a solid option.
