Modern Warfare 2: What Is ‘The Naughty List’ Playlist? How Long Can You Play?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) has a new playlist called the “Naughty List” for players to enjoy during the winter season. With Christmas and New Year just around the corner, Infinity Ward is embodying the holiday season with vigor and enthusiasm. As part of the celebrations, the developers have released a Christmas-themed version of Shipment, also called Shipmas. For those who don’t know, Shipment is one of the most iconic maps in the Call of Duty franchise. This map was reimagined for Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and was released along with the Season 1 Reloaded update. The Naughty List playlist in MW2 Multiplayer features only Holiday Shipment aka Shipment and has different game modes.

Game modes in the Naughty List

The brand new playlist of the Naughty List in Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer features the following game modes:

Team Deathmatch: Team Deathmatch mode brings the original Call of Duty experience in its purest form. Players will have to use teamwork to eliminate enemies and the first team to reach a score of 75 eliminations wins the match.

Hardpoint: Players have to capture the Hardpoint – a specific location on the map – and hold it against the enemy’s attack. The Hardpoint location changes every minute, with the position of the next Hardpoint being indicated in the last 10 seconds of the previous zone. The first team to earn 250 points will win the match.

Domination: In this mode, players have to fight to take control of three zones marked by flags A, B, and C. Players gain points over time from captured zones. The first team to gain 200 points wins the match.

Kill Confirmed: Players must collect the dog tags of enemies they shoot down. Picking up a set of tags will grant your team a point while picking up your teammates’ dog tags will deny the enemy a point. 

All matches on the Holiday Shipment map or Shipmas will be 6v6, similar to the regular version of Shipment.

What’s new on Holiday Shipment during the Naughty List?

The traditionally rusty and dingy map has received a festive makeover. The holiday Shipment map is available in the game for a limited period of time. The visual overhaul made to Shipment is as follows:

• Cold, snowy weather

• Christmas wreaths and trees can be spotted around the map perimeter

• Christmas presents and toys found around the map

• Festive spray paints

• Fairy lights found around the map

Shipmas and the Naughty Playlist went live on 21st December and players can enjoy the different game modes on Holiday Shipment till 4th January 2023.
