Diego’s apartment in the El Sin Nombre mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a safe that most players are likely to miss. Today we’ll help you locate the safe in Diego’s apartment and help you unlock it. The mission cannot be completed until Alejandro hands you a knife and mask, so you will need to progress through El Sin Nombre a fair bit before you can get to the safe. Here’s how you can locate the safe and unlock Diego’s safe code in Modern Warfare 2.

Diego Safe Code in Modern Warfare 2

The safe code for Diego’s safe in Modern Warfare 2 is 02-02-19. 

The first safe in the mission is located inside Diego’s apartment. As soon as Alejandro hands you a knife and mask upon exiting the lift, you should keep walking to the end of the veranda on the right. Once you reach the end of the veranda, climb the balcony to the back of the roof space and take a left from the golden stairs. You will find Diego’s apartment at the end of the area (opposite to the left and past the red pool table). 

There are throwing knives in the room with the red pool table which you can pick up to silently dispatch the guard looking down the hallway. This will allow you to sneak into Diego’s apartment without having to deal with other guards. 

Put in the safe code (02-02-19) and you will get your hands on a Plate Carrier armor and a silenced Lockwood 300 shotgun.

How to get the Gentleman trophy in Modern Warfare 2

If you want the Gentleman trophy in Modern Warfare 2 you need to open a total of three safes during the campaign. One safe is located in the Alone mission and you can unlock it in the coffee shop’s locked office. The code for the safe is 10-10-80.

The third and final safe that you need for the achievement is in the workshop in the Alone mission. Head to the workshop office and you can unlock the safe using the code 37-60-80. Once you unlock all three safes you should get the Gentleman trophy in Modern Warfare 2.
