Celebrating Valentine's Day together is very special. While some people choose to go out on dates, the gamer lot prefers to stay in cozy and play games that they love with their partners. Interestingly, different game titles have their unique way of celebrating Valentine's Day in-game. In one such attempt, Riot Games' FPS, Valorant, has introduced a special Valentine's Day bundle with gun buddies and player cards called the Duo's Date bundle.
Here's all you need to know about it.
Valentine's Day in Valorant: The Duo's Day Bundle
Introducing the Duo's Day bundle on 9th February, Riot Games wrote on Twitter, "Go from 'i miss her' to 'i found her'. Cupid isn’t the only one shooting today. The Duo’s Day Bundle is HERE."
Players were quick to call this the e-dater bundle as it appeals to duos who play Valorant and grind rank games together. However, the bundle will go live on 14th February, on Valentine's Day only. It is not currently up for grabs on the client.
Contents of Valorant Duo's Day Bundle
Firstly, players should note that the Duo's Day bundle will simply only have accessories in Valorant. There are no weapon skins that are included. Here are the contents of the bundle:
Duo's Day Gun Buddy
Two Sprays
Three Player Cards of which two will be animated
<3, </3, and Duo Titles
The Left and Right Duo's Day player cards will have a continuous shining animation surrounding the model and this will only appear in parties and the collection tab. Likewise, the orange and pink gun buddy will start to glow more stronger when the gun it is equipped to is being fired.
Valorant Duo's Day Bundle Expected Price Range
Many players initially thought the upcoming Valentine's Day bundle would be a free-to-play and win track on the client. However, that is not the case as the sprays, player cards and gun buddies are animated specifically surrounding this occasion. As a publisher, Riot Games would not just give it away for free.
As a result, leaks have claimed that the Duo’s Day capsule will be priced somewhere between 2000 and 2500 VP. This could cost you around $20 or $25 USD. Also, as mentioned earlier, keep in mind that you cannot purchase individual items for the bundle. So, it is buy them all together or nothing.
While this e-dater bundle does not have weapon skins, you can always check out the newest XEROFANG collection that Riot Games just rolled out in Valorant. It is a premium skin collection featuring skins with new sound and visual effects for Vandal, Ghost, and a melee blade.
