Pick’Em is back with Worlds 2023 and is bringing forth new prediction challenges with the addition of the Swiss format and richer rewards.
By predicting team wins and defeats, you can accumulate points and climb your way to the top of the Global Leaderboard.

Pick'Em is back this year for League of Legends Worlds 2023 and is offering new prediction challenges with the addition of the new Swiss format and richer rewards. Fans who participate can accumulate points by predicting wins and losses for teams, and climb to the top of the Global Leaderboard for rewards and other goodies.

Riot Games said, "Team up with friends using custom leaderboards to heighten the competition. Plus, don’t miss the Celebrity Leaderboard, letting you gauge your predictions against the choices of the biggest names in League of Legends and beyond."

Fans should note that all they need to have is a valid Riot Account and a Summoner Name to play and receive rewards in Worlds 2023 Pick'Em.

Here's all you need to know about Pick'Em in 2023!


Worlds Pick'Em 2023

Worlds 2023 Pick'Em will have fans from around the world predict outcomes for the tournament and put their League of Legends esports and meta knowledge to the test.

How to Play:

Firstly, players need to log into LoL Esports website with their accounts and then head over to https://pickem.lolesports.com/pickem/welcome. Now, click on 'Get Started' and lock in your predictions.

While you can make predictions for each stage of the tournament (Play-In, Swiss, Knockout), you can also participate in the 'Crystal Ball' picks.

Crystal Ball

The Crystal Ball will challenge you to dive even deeper into this upcoming Worlds meta, pushing the boundaries of your predictive prowess. Here’s the rundown:

  • You can select the answers for 20 Worlds prediction questions from 4th October and the picks lock at 9:15 CEST on 10th October 10 with the start of the first Play-In match.

  • Lock in your picks before the window closes and you cannot expect the Coin to help you.

  • After the Worlds finals, you will see how you scored and earn rewards based on your performance.

Tournament Picks

In every stage, you will choose the teams you believe will advance further in the tournament.

  • Play-In: Select two teams that will advance to Swiss.

  • Swiss: Select eight teams

  • Knockout: Once the Swiss Stage has finished, you'll be able to pick the winners for matches at each step of the way throughout the Knockout Stage and ultimately settle on who you think will win Worlds 2023.


Pick'Em 2023 Opening and Locking Timings

Here are the opening and locking times for Pick'Em 2023 for Worlds:

  • Play-In Pick'Em will open on 4th October at 17:00 CEST and close on 10th October at 9:15 CEST.

  • Swiss Stage will be open for picks on 15th October at 17:00 CEST and close 19th October at 7:00 CEST.

  • Quarterfinals will be open for picks on 30th October at 17:00 CET and you will have until right before each Quarterfinals match starts to choose your winning team.

  • Semifinals picks opens on 5th November. Game 1 will close on 11th November and game 2 will close 12th November at 9:00 CET.

  • Worlds 2023 finals pick will be open on 12th November at 16:00 CET and close 19th November at 9:00 CET.

The scoring system is as follows:

Play-In Stage points: Correct predictions each award 10 points.

Swiss Stage points: Players will earn 5 points for each team correctly picked to advance to Quarterfinals, as well as an additional 15 points if they correctly pick a team that goes 3-0. Accurately predicting all 8 teams to advance along with an accurate 3-0 pick will earn 20 additional points for a Perfect Swiss Stage.

Knockout Stage points: Each correct pick during Quarterfinals awards 10 points. Correct picks during the Semifinals earn 15 points each and successfully picking the Worlds Finals matchup nets you 20 points.
