The Lend-Lease Part 1 quest is a pick-up task given by trader Skier.
Here's all you need to know about it.

Pick-up quests in Escape from Tarkov are when the players are required to collect an item during a raid, extract safely without dying, and pass it on to the trader for rewards and reputation. The Lend-Lease Part 1 quest is one such task given by trader Alexander Fyodorovich Kiselyov also known by his alias Skier. This quest takes place on the locations of Shoreline and Woods in Tarkov.

This particular quest unlocks after you finish the Humanitarian Supplies quest in the game. Likewise, finishing the Lend-Lease Part 1 quest will unlock its part 2.

Here’s everything you need to know about this Skier task.

Lend-Lease Part 1 quest explained

Players need to be at least level 25 to start this quest. The objectives of this quest are as follows:

  • Obtain the first Motor Controller on Woods and hand it over to Skier

  • Obtain the second Motor Controller on Shoreline and hand it over to Skier

  • Obtain the third Motor Controller on Shoreline and hand it over to Skier

  • Obtain the first Single-axis Fiber Optic Gyroscope on Woods and hand it over to Skier

  • Obtain the second Single-axis Fiber Optic Gyroscope on Shorelineand hand it over to Skier

Note that you need the following keys for this quest:

  • Health Resort west wing room 216 key

  • Health Resort east wing room 306 key or Health Resort east wing room 308 key

Firstly, let us go over where the handover items on Woods are located. The first controller can be found in the center console of a black SUV at the checkpoint west of the lumber camp. Additionally,  the first gyroscope can be found in an open black box located in the back of a cyan-colored pickup truck at the lumber camp.

If you happen to die before handing over the items to Skier, you need to come back into a raid to collect them. So once you get the items from Woods, extract and hand them over to Skier immediately.

On Shoreline, the second controller will be near the ‘Road to Customs’ extract point. All you need to do is find the car trailer near the Radar Antenna or the radio/signal tower and you will be able to see it near the railroad tracks. Once you go to the trailer, point at the corner of the trailer, turn around, and run in a straight line. After a few seconds of running, you will see a box containing the second controller for the Lend-Lease Part 1 Quest.

Next, you should be heading to the Health Resort on Shoreline for the other items. You need to go to the east wing room 306. For this, you need to enter through the main entrance and take a left and climb the stairs to the top-most floor. All you need to do is look for door number 306 and enter it with the key that you already have. You will notice the third motor controller in a box on the balcony.

Now, go to the west wing building through the main entrance, turn right to go up the stairs to the first floor and see the room numbers, and locate room 216. You need to jump over a barbed wire to access room 216 and once you’ve opened the door, look directly to your left at a blue cabinet. Here’s where you will find the second gyroscope.
