League of Legends Ranked Split 1 End: Date, Time & Rewards Explained
League of Legends Season 13 brought in a plethora of changes at the start of the year. For the first time, Riot Games introduced a new two-split system for Ranked, keeping in vogue with other games including its other title Teamfight Tactics (TFT). With the ranked season split into two parts, players have the opportunity to track their progress better and shall also earn more rewards. Notably, Split 1 of League of Legends Season 2023 ranked kicked off on 11th January for most regions. Now, Split 1 is nearing ending with the second split all set to commence post-summer.
Here’s all you need to know about Ranked Split 1, when it is ending, and the rewards you can get by playing in this Ranked Split in League of Legends.
When is Ranked Split 1 Ending in League of Legends?
With the two-split system for Ranked in 2023, players will have their ranks reset when the first split ends and the second split commences. Recently, Riot Games also revealed that it has more changes planned for Split 2, starting with the introduction of the Emerald rank.
Notably, on 8th April, Riot Games tweeted, “Get ready for a mid-season shakeup. On July 17 at 23:59 CST, your rank will reset and Split 2 of the ranked season will begin, so keep on climbing.”
As of the time of writing this article, players have a solid 37 days to finish their Split 1 climb. Players should keep in mind that the reset for Split 2 will not be as heavy as the one in January.
You will be gaining split points (SP) by winning during the two splits. With the SP, you can get in-game rewards including emotes, skin shards, and blue and orange essence, among many others.

10 SP: Hextech Chest
40 SP: Hextech Key
80 SP: Random ward skin shard
120 SP: Hextech Key
160 SP: Ranked Emote Split 1
200 SP: Hextech Key
240 SP: K’Sante Champion Permanent
280 SP: Hextech Chest
320 SP: Ranked Summoner Icon Split 1
400 SP: Mystery Emote
480 SP: Hextech Chest
720 SP: Eternals Series 1 Capsule
800 SP: Masterwork Chest
Victorious Skin for Ranked Split 1
Starting with Season 2023, players can earn Victorious skins just by playing Ranked, earning Split Points, and reaching at least Honor Level 2. The number of games one has to play, however, depends on the player’s rank.
If you're Iron, Bronze, or Silver, you'll need 1600 Split Points for that split's Victorious skin.
If you're Gold or higher, then you'll only need 80 Split Points. In the case that you demote to Silver before unlocking the skin, you will be shifted to the 1600 SP bracket for the skin.
